Born in London, Yasmine began her career path as a Junior Associate, before entering full-time training at \u201cThe Royal Ballet School\u201d, White Lodge and Upper School. In 2009, the young artist won the \u201cYoung British Dancer of the Year Competition\u201d. The following year, she joined \u201cThe Royal Ballet\u201d where she was promoted to First Artist in 2012, Soloist in 2014 and First Soloist in 2016. In 2017, she obtained the coveted rank of Principal Dancer. In 2018, Yasmine was nominated for \u201cBest Female Dancer\u201d at the \u201cCritic’s Circle National Dance Awards\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her major roles with the Company include Odette\/Odile (“Swan Lake”), Aurora (“The Sleeping Beauty”), Giselle, Juliet (“Romeo and Juliet”), Gamzatti (“La Bayad\u00e8re”), Kitri (“Don Quixote”), Tatiana (“Onegin”), Swanilda (“Coppelia”), Sugar Plum Fairy (“The Nutcracker”), \u201cThe Firebird\u201d, Mathilde Kschessinska (“Anastasia”), Pink Girl (“Dances at a Gathering”), Irina (“Winter Dreams”), Terpischore (“Apollo”), Young Girl (“Two Pigeons”), Florence Billington (“The Unknown Soldier”), Stop Time Rag and Bethina Waltz (“Elite Syncopations”) and the Girl (“The Invitation”). She also performs the \u201cConcerto\u201d second movement pas de deux, \u201cWithin the Golden Hour\u201d central pas de deux and \u201cSymphonic Variations\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her further repertoire includes \u201cLe Corsaire Grand Pas\u201d, \u201cAct III pas de deux\u201d (\u201cSylvia\u201d), \u201cBallet Imperial\u201d (Balanchine), \u201cSymphony in C\u201d, ‘Emerald’, ‘Rubies’, ‘Diamonds’ (\u201cJewels\u201d), \u201cTarantella\u201d (Balanchine), \u201cThe Four Temperaments\u201d (Balanchine), \u201cMonotones I\u201d, \u201cLa Sylphide\u201d, and ballets created by Wayne McGregor and Christopher Wheeldon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
