{"id":9202,"date":"2025-11-04T12:09:52","date_gmt":"2025-11-04T11:09:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.leshivernales.be\/danseur\/jan-spunda-soliste-du-dutch-national-ballet\/"},"modified":"2026-02-19T13:07:53","modified_gmt":"2026-02-19T12:07:53","slug":"jan-spunda-soloist-of-the-dutch-national-ballet","status":"publish","type":"danseur","link":"https:\/\/www.leshivernales.be\/en\/dancer\/jan-spunda-soloist-of-the-dutch-national-ballet\/","title":{"rendered":"Jan \u0160punda, Soloist of the Dutch National Ballet"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Originally from Ostrava, Czech Republic, Jan began his ballet training at an early age and went on to study at the <em>English National Ballet School<\/em> in London on a full scholarship, supported by the <em>Rudolf Nureyev Foundation<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His talent was recognized early in his career: in 2014, he won third prize at the <em>Tallinn International Ballet Competition<\/em>, and in 2017, he received third prize as well as the Outstanding Artistry Award from <em>Dance Europe Magazine<\/em> at the <em>Youth America Grand Prix<\/em> in New York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following his graduation, Jan began his professional career with the <em>Bayerisches Staatsballett<\/em>, before joining the <em>Dutch National Ballet<\/em> in Amsterdam, where his artistry and refined technique led to a rapid rise through the ranks, culminating in his current position as Soloist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jan\u2019s repertoire encompasses both classical and contemporary works.
