Born in France, Lou Beyne began dancing at an early age at Le Monde de la Danse before continuing her training at the Conservatoire de Montreuil, where she studied under the guidance of Françoise Legrée.
After a season with the Salzburg Ballet, she joined the Zürich Ballett in 2010, immersing herself in the repertoire of Heinz Spoerli. She later became a member of the Magdeburg Ballett, where she expanded her repertoire extensively. She was then promoted to Principal Dancer in 2016.
Her career reached a new era in 2018 when she joined the Ballets de Monte‑Carlo. Promoted to Principal just one year later, she has performed major works by the company’s director Jean‑Christophe Maillot as well as by leading choreographers including Jiří Kylián, George Balanchine, Marco Goecke, Christopher Wheeldon, and Sharon Eyal.
In 2015 she received the “Dancer of the Year” award from Tanz Zeitschrift, followed by the “Best Dancer Award” in 2016 from Dance For You. An internationally recognized artist, she is regularly invited to perform in galas and productions around the world, reflecting both her global presence and artistic excellence.
