From 2017, Tian joined the Dance Department of the Central Academy of Drama in Beijing, where he underwent intensive training. In 2024, he graduated with a Bachelor of Performing Arts with a specialization in Dance Performance. Alongside his academic studies, Tian gained public recognition by participating in the television show “Dance Storm” on Hunan Satellite TV, where he distinguished himself by reaching the Top 8.
In 2021, he appeared on screen again as a dancer in the series “Tiger Roaring Picture”, as well as in the dance drama “Grand Hotel”. In 2022, he portrayed the Jade Rabbit in the series “Jade Rabbit and Chang’e”, while also joining the Xie Xin Dance Theater for the production “Silent Rise”.
In 2023, Tian received the honorary title of “Top Dancer”, awarded by the Chinese Dancers Association, a distinction he would go on to receive for three consecutive years. That same year, he was invited as a performer and/or choreographer on several major shows, including “This Is Street Dance”, “Amazing Dance Club”, and “Dancing Student”.
In 2024, Tian took part in the Chinese premiere of “Sad Case” by Paul Lightfoot and Sol León, internationally renowned choreographers and former artistic directors of NDT. He also worked as a rehearsal director for a commissioned creation by Scapino Ballet Rotterdam.
Today, Tian continues his career as a freelance dancer and choreographer, collaborating internationally, driven by artistic rigor and a constant desire to explore new horizons.
