Anna Ol, Principal Nationale Opera and Ballet Amsterdam

At the age of five, Anna began her dance training at the Krasnoyarsk Ballet School in Siberia, her home region.

Her professional career started as a soloist with the Ballet of her hometown, before she went on to perform as a guest principal at the Mikhailovsky Theatre in Saint Petersburg and with the Tatarstan State Ballet. In 2012, she joined the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Academic Music Theatre Ballet Company, where she danced for three seasons. In 2015, she moved to Amsterdam to join the Dutch National Ballet as a principal dancer.

In 2016, she performed as a guest principal at the Teatro Colón in Argentina, and since 2017, she has been a regular guest artist with the Semperoper Ballet in Dresden.

With a highly diverse repertoire, Anna chose to join the Dutch National Ballet to broaden her artistic horizons, exploring new approaches, collaborating with new choreographers, and expressing her art in different ways.

Anna won the gold medal at the International Ballet Competition in Krasnoyarsk in 2008 and in Perm in 2010.
