Nancy started learning to dance at the Cardwell Theatre School in England and, from her earliest childhood, she was hungry for more… While continuing the lessons in her regular school, she perfected thanks to the programmes of the Northern Ballet and the Royal Ballet School, which open their doors to certain day students.
This intensive training gave her access to the English National Ballet School in London, under the direction of Wayne Eagling, which she joined in September 2005. She was a finalist in 2006 and 3rd Place in 2007 in the Young British Dancer of the Year competition, won the Molly Lake Award in 2006, was a finalist in the Prix de Lausanne in 2008, and had the opportunity to perform the role of Titania in Sir Frederic Ashton’s The Dream at the end-of-year Performance in 2008.
That same year, she joined the company attached to the school, where she danced in all the famous classical ballets. Step by step, Nancy found her niche: she began to be cast in demi-soloist and even soloist roles. In 2012, she was a finalist in the Emerging Dancer Award, an intense competition she won in 2013 thanks to her performance in Don Quixote. That same year, she received a National Dance Award nomination for Outstanding Female Classical for the Ballerina in Petroushka.
In 2014, eager for new challenges, she joined the Royal Ballet of Flanders. She was promoted to soloist in 2016 and Principal in 2017. Alongside her performances with the company, she is a regular guest Principal at the Bayerisches Staatsballett, sharing her time and talent between Belgium and Germany.
In 2022, she took her great little family to the Ballet du Capitole de Toulouse, where she is currently continuing her career as a dancer under the watchful eye of her daughter’s father, the company’s ballet master. She continues to travel the world as a freelance artist, according to her desires, her projects and her availability.
